Unexpected Office Humor
I decided this afternoon that I would drop by my buddy Peter’s desk just down the way from me. Peter is another contractor from BC and we work on the same team together. His cube is down this dark, rarely traveled hallway that leads to the back of the building (see above picture). So I was over there chewin the fat with Peter when all the sudden I hear this crashing noise. Not like the crashing of a car…more like the crashing of a person. I look down the hallway (see above picture) and see these legs sticking out of a doorway, which is almost obstructed because of two very oversized boxes. As the picture develops before my eyes I realize that this nice lady carrying the aforementioned oversized boxes has fallen down the stairs and created quite the commotion. My first instinct was to wonder if she was okay (clearly you can see how far a walk it would be to ask if she is okay and of course I can tell she’s visibly embarrassed) and then I heard her giggling…I don’t know maybe it was shriking screams of shear, child-birthing pain, but I really think it was giggling. Yeah it was giggling.
