Long Way Round

I am the first to admit I like to watch TV. I am very interested in shows like American Chopper and the likes of Discovery, History & the Travel channel. I love to watch people build things. I also enjoy watching documentaries…as long as they are on a topic I enjoy (that should go without saying). The other day I saw an ad for this documentary called Long Way Round. Of course I set the TiVo to record all 7 episodes. I remember reading about this back in 04. It’s the story of Ewan McGregor and his best friend (mate as these Scots call it) Charley Boorman riding their motorcycles from London to New York. WOW!!!!! What an amazing story! If you haven’t seen this I highly recommend you rent or buy the DVD. It is quite an amazing documentary of what these guys went through to ride across the largest continent and then some. The theme was 2 men…2 bikes…20,000 miles. Of course I love motorcycles (if you haven’t figured that out) so it made watching that much better. I also have a new appreciation for Ewan and his mate Charley. Giddy up!
