Holy Inverted Heli! I Love Me Some Skiing
Just got back from a ski trip up to Blue Knob, PA. Man do I love to ski! Not the biggest mountain in the world, but still a fun one. I would say it’s definitely a lot more fun when there is a blizzard, but we only had about 6 inches of snow while we were up there. Still very enjoyable.
I was up there with the youth group from Riverside where my good buddy Dan is the youth pastor. We had a slight mishap heading up there. I took us down the wrong road and we ended up getting a 15 passenger van stuck in a ditch (sorry Dave). After an hour of marvelous engineering with rocks and salt, we still couldn’t get it out until a nice truck of three backwoods PA boys showed up. They seemed to have an overwhelming urge to tell us many times over how they had no idea how we missed the tinnie tiny sign for Blue Knob. Thanks for rubbing it in. As if we didn’t feel dumb enough. Well they drug the van out (literally) and we were back on our way in no time. Other than the occasional harassment from Jr High girls about driving into a ditch, it was a fun time. Good times had by all! God is good.

I’m glad you put a picture up of you skiing off that huge jump. That inverted heli was wicked awesome… all the way up until you landed on the camera man… My nose is still recovering.
