Honey Where is the Acetylene Balloon Bomb?

This Balloon Bomb Was A Great Idea
No joke a couple in Colorado thought it would be a good idea to fill a balloon with Acetylene (gas used in wielding) to blow up at a Super Bowl party….unfortunately for them they didn’t quite make it there. What I want to know is what kind of person says “hey let’s fill up an extremely thin piece of rubber with a highly explosive, volatile gas that could explode at any moment and transport it in the back of our car.” Now I’ve been known to do some hair-brained things, but this…this is a whole new level. That is a great question. But you see I think first off if you as a person think that filling a balloon with acetylene and putting it in your backseat is a good idea, you probably aren’t thinking ahead too far. Now if it was me I would probably use some sort of fuse…but it’s not like I would ever try this.

Rob you keep you and your gas far, far away. Your gas is as volatile and explosive as any gas on earth…I’ve seen the sparks…
