“All I have is a red guitar, three chords, and the truth.” -bono

I don’t have a red guitar (well I do have one that kinda changes colors and I also have a Tele that has a sunburnt finish…), but I think I can play three chords. The important part of what bono is saying is the truth.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Jesus said that in John 14. He is the truth and all we have to do is accept he died for our sins and believe. It’s that simple. Now you know what truth is. The wife and I have been going to Reston Bible for a couple years now and we know they teach the truth. We love the teaching.

It’s been said this is where I am suppose to tell you a little about myself. If you are thinking of taking a short nap or trying to get a good nights sleep, read on.
Okay fine in all seriousness…as the stats say I am a twenty-five (yes I am hanging onto that for as long as possible), well feed, happily married, Virginia is for Lovers, American with a German background, male. Currently I am running my own New Media Design & Web Development Company called ShiningStudios. I started ShiningStudios almost a year ago after working for a small software joke of a company for almost five years. Seems as though they liked to sell their customers a dollar for $.85. Hey everybody likes to do things differently, fortunatley for me the paychecks stopped coming and I was forced out on my own. It’s definitely been an adventure to say the least. Enough of that work talk…like I said earlier I am married to a wonderful woman who is an incredible cook among other things! She is also extremely smart (yes I married up) and is currently enrolled in graduate school earning her PhD while holding down the fort in her sixth grade special ed classroom. Like I said…very smart! Our little joke is that she has enough schooling to balance out my lack of schooling…really it’s the truth. There’s that word again.

Some other things you may not know about me are: Played in a couple rock n roll bands in my day. Cut a few albums and EP’s. I still play guitar and sing and write whenever I get the chance. It’s a passion. I love cars…it’s in my blood. Actually I love anything fast including motorcycles as well. There’s nothing like getting out on the open road with the wind in your face, the sense of freedom all around and catching a bug just above where your jacket stops covering your neck. I like sports. I tell myself I can play. I love to ski. I guess you could say I have a lot of hobbies. That about wraps it up…if I think of anything else I’ll be sure to let you know.
